Rahul, a young man in list late thirty’s, living in San Francisco, is haunted by dreams of the loss of the palace he grew up in. When his partner Andrew discovers that Rahul is still interviewing girls sent by his parents for an arranged marriage, he moves out, giving Rahul an ultimatum—stop living a lie and share the secret of his angst and unhappiness, or lose him and the relationship. Set in San Francisco today and in India in the early 1970s, My Magical Palace is a sensitive tale about a boy’s coming of age, and the many hurdles he must cross to heal and find himself.

Kunal received the title of Best Indian Debut Writer in December 2012 from the Tales Pensieve literary site. My Magical Palace was in the top 100 Sales Rank list on Amazon in Literary Fiction and in the top 10 Sales Rank in other categories for Kindle this year.

Jonathan Arnowitz is a User Experience Designer and writer with 2 books and over 70 articles to his credit. He is a leader in design having worked for Google, SAP, and other leading software and design firms. He is currently working on a multi-volume saga showing the life of Jamie Goldberg how he transforms from a naive closet-case to someone who latches onto every label he can find and ultimately someone who dares to cast them all aside. Jonathan’s background is in theater where he specialized on the works of Harold Pinter. Jonathan is also someone who dares to adore Friedrich Nietzsche, Richard Wagner and Gustav Mahler –and in the same breath recognizes their inspiration to all of his professions: designer, author, and playwright.
