On Sunday, September 20th from 12-2pm, join Left Coast Writers® Live on FCCFREE RADIO’s popular show, Lilycat on Stuff. Lilycat’s guest on Sunday will be Joel Eis, Author of The Function of the Ekkyklema in Greek Theatre, The Sculptural Display of Murdered Victims and the Success of Greek Tragedy for the State

The Function of the Ekkyklema in Greek Theatre, The Sculptural Display of Murdered Victims and the Success of Greek Tragedy for the State, (Edwin Mellen Press, 2014) was awarded the Adelle Mellen prize for outstanding contribution to scholarship upon its release, and received a special forward from Sir John Boardman, greatest living scholar on Greek vases and theatre, Emeritus at Oxford and former curator of the Ashmolean Museum.

Professor Joel D. Eis, MFA has been writing plays, poetry short stories, articles, and essays since the 1970s. A good portion of his work has seen print publication or staged reading/production. He has published three full length books; a book on the performance of the first play in English in the New World,(Edwin Mellen Press) a text on stagecraft for high schools (Centerline Productions) and his current book on Greek theatre published by Edwin Mellen Press. It has already received the Adele Mellen award for outstanding academic contribution, 2015.

The ongoing spot on Lilycat on Stuff is scheduled for the third Sunday of every month. Left Coast Writers® are invited to participate in the programming. Listeners are invited to call in and share their opinions.

3 – on Lily Cat page – there will be a “Tune In Now” section to select the streaming service of listeners choice – Under Studio A: – iTunes – Windows Media Player – Real Media Player – Quick Time Studio

4. Once selected the listening controls should appear & sound should be on – listen to the program – Lily Cat will give the phone # to call
